I didnt get parental custody. This will be given to her daddy in Tasmania who really never had a chance to get to know his little girl. I will however be getting her 4 times a year for a week at a time and if agreed other occasions too. there are quite a few other stipulations in this care plan and they are all positive for myself and Kayla.
Most of you might be wondering why this is good news? Well after much soul searching and thinking and rethinking this whole experience I have realized that Kayla should have the right to have her daddy. He seems to have done alot for her since this has happened and I feel supporting him is the best thing to do. If it doesnt work out, I will get her by default as the next preferred family choice by Docs.
I came to the understanding and peace of mind that yes my fight was for kayla to live with me, but somehow along the way, it became about Docs and things that really had no relevance to Kayla's happiness. It became personal and my pride got in the way. But, again, I now have been able to revise this entire journey I feel I have taken and Im very ok with the outcome. Kayla is OUT of the system and is about to have another chance at life. This was the main focus for me initially. Things just got way too tangled and confusing for a while there.
So be happy for me guys, this is the best outcome for Kayla.
I will definatly keep everyone updated as the time goes on and again I cannot stress how helpful the members at this site were to me.
keep up your support guys. There are many out there like me who have no idea about the way this whole thing works, and you guys were great in explianing and supporting and being positive and real about the whole system.
I will always be grateful for your help

First of all so sorry to hear all this about your grand daughter Here is the option that Your daughter can apply for an immediate court case through the Supreme Court
YES even in the middle of the night!
